Don’t Be a Blue Ghost by Austen Lane
Austen Lane wrote his fourth and final blog for us here at Pro Interviews. I don’t know how he did it, but it’s even funnier than the last comparison! This time he compiles the “Austen Lane’s List of Weak Links” which includes, but is not limited to Velma from Scooby Doo, the Yellow Starburst, and Pop-Tarts. AL also wrote about his opinion of the Transformers this past weekend. It’s a great closing to Austen Lane’s blogs.
WNBA = Mohawks by Austen Lane
Austen Lane wrote his third blog, and this time, compared the WNBA and Mohawks. I don’t know how he did it, but it’s even funnier than the last comparison! He develops the “Austen Lane’s WNBA Guide for People Who Have Nothing Left to Hold On To!” AL also wrote about his teammate, Larry Hart’s Mohawk. He encourages you to vote in his poll too. I believe this is his best one yet. You will too.
Rams WR, Austin Pettis Interview
Austin Pettis was a starter since freshman year at Boise State from 2007 through 2010. He totaled 229 receptions and 2838 yards (which was ranks 2nd all-time in Boise State history). He also accumulated 39 touchdowns. He was selected twice as First-Team All-WAC in 2009 and 2010. He entered the 2011 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 3rd round, 78th overall. During his rookie season with the Rams, he had 27 receptions for 256 yards.
Beards > Blogs by Austen Lane
Austen Lane wrote his second blog, and decided to compare Beards and Blogs. I don’t know how he did it, but it’s hilarious! AL is known for his humor and sarcasm on his twitter. He develops the “Beard” Big Board and the “Without Beards” Big Board. He also reports about D’Anthony Smith. I’m sure you’ll have a great laugh while reading this blog!
Jets Kicker, Nick Folk Interview
Nick Folk played college football at the University of Arizona. He then entered the 2007 NFL Draft and was drafted in the 6th round by the Dallas Cowboys. During his rookie season, he earned both Pro Bowl and All-Pro recognition. He signed with the New York Jets after an interesting 2009 season. He has greatly improved his kicking since. This interview was done before the 2011 NFL season.
For the Love by Earnest Byner
Earnest Byner wrote his sixth and final blog article for us here at Pro Interviews. Byner played professionally for thirteen years, and he has coached for fourteen years. He is currently the Jacksonville Jaguars’ running back coach. He loves the game hence why he has been around it for so long. He wrote this about the ‘little-boy’ feeling of the game that should never get away. This was written before the 2011 NFL season.
Blog NUKE by Austen Lane
Austen Lane wrote his first blog, and called it a Blog NUKE! Lane played collegiately, for the Murray State Riders, and was drafted to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2010. He is one of their better run defenders on the defensive line. AL is known for his humor and sarcasm on twitter. He writes his first article with the fans in mind. Pay It Forward by Akbar Gbaja-Biamila
Akbar Gbaja-Biamila wrote his second article for all of us. Gbaja-Biamila talks about his defensive coordinator, Wade Phillips and his linebacker coach, Greg Manusky’s impact on him and his approach to the game. AGB also wrote about the common bond of receiving gifts. Finally, he touches on the issue that we desire to make insecurities become securities. Hall of Fame QB, Warren Moon Interview
Warren Moon was the Rose Bowl MVP in 1978. He played football in the CFL for the Edmonton Eskimos. He won five straight Grey Cup Championships. He then entered the NFL, signing with the Houston Oilers. He also played for the Vikings, Seahawks, and Chiefs in his career. He retired passing for over 49,000 yards and about 290 touchdowns. He is 4th all time in Passing Yards, and 6th all time in Passing TDs. He was inducted into both the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Read more
Jets OLB, Jamaal Westerman Interview
Jamaal Westerman played college football at Rutgers from 2005 through 2008. He was known a pass rusher and totaled 141 tackles, 45 tackles for loss, and 26 sacks throughout his time at Rutgers. He finished college third all-time with sacks. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but actually went undrafted. He signed a UDFA contract with the New York Jets. In 2011, he had 32 tackles and 3.5 sacks and forced 2 fumbles. This interview was conducted before the 2012 NFL season.

Panthers DL, Terrell McClain Interview
Terrell McClain played college football at the University of South Florida from 2007 through 2010. He was nominated 1st team All-Big East after a stellar senior season. During his time at USF, he totaled 89 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, 10 QB hurries, 1 pass breakup, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery. He was drafted in the 3rd round by the Panthers of the 2011 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, he totaled 19 tackles and 1 sack. Click here to check out the interview that we did. Earnest Byner wrote his fifth blog. Byner wrote this one specifically about what it was like for him to train to become a Super Bowl Champion. He actually became one when he was a member of the Washington Redskins. He references some things that have helped him guide his career and who he is. He talks about the mentality that every team should have and about why he was so gifted. This was written before the 2011 NFL season.
Falcons DT, Corey Peters Interview
Corey Peters played college football at the University of Kentucky in the Southeastern Conference. While he was there, he totaled 146 tackles and 11 sacks. After his collegiate career, he entered the 2010 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 3rd round by the Atlanta Falcons. Since he came into the NFL, he has totaled 59 tackles, 4 sacks, 4 pass deflections, and 1 interception. He has been one of the most promising young defensive tackles in the NFL. Rams Special Teams Ace, Dominique Curry Interview
Dominique Curry first attended college at Cheyney University. He was a great special teams player and wide receiver too. He then transferred to Division II powerhouse, California University of Pennsylvania. He was a stud on Special Teams. He then entered the 2010 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He was working as a physical trainer when the Rams called him. He ended making the 53-man roster. There are two interviews here. Read more

Gbaja-Biamila played collegiately, for the San Diego State Aztecs, and then professionally, for the Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders, and the San Diego Chargers. He is brothers with Packers great, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila. AGB wrote about the preparation of an athlete for life after the NFL.
