Free Agent WR, Legedu Naanee Interview

Legedu Naanee played college football at Boise State University, and he had seventy-two receptions and twelve touchdowns throughout his entire collegiate career. He entered the 2007 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 5th round, 172nd overall by the San Diego Chargers. He earned loads of playing time, and finished his time in San Diego with 746 yards and three TDs. In 2011, he signed with the Carolina Panthers and had his best season of his young career with forty-four receptions and 467 yards. He has started twenty games in his NFL career, but has played in 69 games. This interview was conducted as he was a free agent. [UPDATE: He is currently fighting for a roster spot on the Miami Dolphins.]

I participated in an hour-long improv session with J.J. McDermott, A.J. Love, Luke Kuechly, Ryan Tannehill, and Chris Manno. Our host was Steve Shenbaum of GameOn Nation. Check out the interviews that were conducted before the 2012 NFL Draft. There are interviews with NFL Draft Prospects Luke Kuechly and A.J. Love. In addition to that, there is an interview with former Hofstra wide receiver, and current free agent wide receiver, Chris Manno.

Eagles G, Evan Mathis Interview

Evan Mathis played college football at the University of Alabama. He earned First-Team All-SEC Honors in 2004 after having a great season. He entered the 2005 NFL Draft and was drafted by the Panthers in the 3rd round. He played for the Panthers from 2005-2007, then Dolphins in 2008, and the Bengals from 2008-2010. He most recently started 15 games for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011.

Panthers WR, Armanti Edwards Interview

Armanti Edwards was the QB of Appalachian St. Mountaineers from 2006 through 2008. He had some great statistics during his time at App State. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft and was considered one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks coming into the league. He was drafted in the 3rd round, 78th overall by the Carolina Panthers. He threw his first completed pass this past season. This interview was conducted in the middle of the 2011 NFL season.

Panthers DL, Terrell McClain Interview

Terrell McClain played college football at the University of South Florida from 2007 through 2010. He was nominated 1st team All-Big East after a stellar senior season. During his time at USF, he totaled 89 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, 10 QB hurries, 1 pass breakup, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery. He was drafted in the 3rd round by the Panthers of the 2011 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, he totaled 19 tackles and 1 sack. Click here to check out the interview that we did. Retired NFL G, Tutan Reyes Interview

Tutan Reyes played on the offensive line at the University of Ole Miss. He entered the 2000 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 5th round by the New Orleans Saints. He played with the Saints from 2000-2002, and then, TR had a brief stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002. Then, Reyes signed with Carolina Panthers and played with them from 2002-2005, and after that he was with the Bills in 2006. He played for the Jaguars from 2007 through 2009, and then had two tryouts left with the Giants and the Texans but they didn’t seem to work out. Seahawks LB, Anthony Heygood Interview

Anthony Heygood played as a linebacker and on Special Teams for Purdue University. He had a great senior season with 114 tackles. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but actually went undrafted. He signed a undrafted free agent contract with the Carolina Panthers after the draft. He was waived by the Panthers in the 2009 season, but signed with the Seattle Seahawks and was cut right before camp ended. Panthers RB, Tyrell Sutton Interview

Tyrell Sutton played running back for Northwestern University. He earned playing time all four years while he was there. TS entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed a UDFA contract with the Green Bay Packers and during the preseason he played very well, but was still cut by the Green Bay Packers. He then signed with the Carolina Panthers. He returned kicks, ran the ball, and also caught passes out of the backfield. This interview was conducted in the early part of the 2010 NFL season. Former NFL WR, Samie Parker Interview

Samie Parker played college football for the University of Oregon. He was one of Kellen Clemens’ favorite wide receiver targets, and was known as a tremendous deep threat. He entered the 2004 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 4th round by the Kansas City Chiefs. SP played four seasons with the Chiefs, and then bounced around the NFL with different teams. He also played in the AFL for the Chicago Rush. [UPDATE: In 2010 and 2011, he also played in the United Football League (UFL) for the Las Vegas Locomotives.] Read more »
