Edgerrin James Youth Football Camp

When I heard about the Edgerrin James Football Camp in Ave Maria, Florida, I knew Pro Interviews had to take a 2 hour drive there and be in attendance. I have heard throughout the last few years that former Miami Hurricanes RB was a class act. I read an article that he continued to give back to his hometown of Immokalee and to underprivileged youth. In the past,  Edgerrin James paid for these free football camps and organized it, but he also continues giving something that has no dollar value. He gives his hometown his time.

Devin Aromashodu Football Camp

Seven year NFL-veteran wide receiver, Devin Aromashodu gave back last week to his hometown, hosting an event for kids at his alma mater, Miami Springs Senior High School. In attendance were his friends and some of his former teammates, Vikings defensive players, Mistral Raymond, Fred Evans, Chris Cook, and Bears Tim Jennings and Major Wright came out to support. Colts LB, Cody Glenn Interview

Cody Glenn played college football at the University of Nebraska. He played running back throughout his first three years there, and then switched to linebacker for his senior season. He then entered the 2009 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 5th round by the Washington Redskins. He was cut in the preseason, but the Colts signed him and he remained with the Colts from 2009 to 2011. He played in Super Bowl XLIV mainly on Special Teams. This interview was conducted before he signed with the Baltimore Ravens.

Colts MLB, Pat Angerer Interview recapping the 2011 season

Pat Angerer entered the 2010 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 2nd round, 63rd overall by the Indianapolis Colts. He totaled eighty-eight tackles last year, one sack, one forced fumble, and two pass breakups last year. Angerer started every game in 2011 for the Colts and finished 4th in the league with 148 tackles, 1 sack, 1 interception, 3 pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles. Broncos WR, Quan Cosby Interview

Quan Cosby grew up playing both baseball and football. After high school, he decided to pursue his dreams playing baseball and played for the Anaheim Angels from 2001 through 2005. He then went bak to college to pursue his love for football and went to the University of Texas from 2005 through 2008. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but didn’t get drafted. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, and he’s been primarily used as a kick returner and punt returner in the NFL. This interview was conducted the week before he got cut by the Denver Broncos. He ended up signing with the Indianapolis Colts.

Colts MLB, Pat Angerer Interview

Pat Angerer played college football at the University of Iowa. He totaled 242 tackles, 2 sacks, and 6 interceptions during his junior and senior seasons. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 2nd round by the Indianapolis Colts. I had a chance to meet him back in 2010 after his first NFL start against the Washington Redskins. He started every game in 2011 for the Colts and finished 4th in the league with 148 tackles. Check out our interview that was conducted in the spring of 2011.

Bears DT, Tommie Harris Interview

Tommie Harris played college football at Oklahoma University. He was a complete stud and then, he entered the 2004 NFL Draft and was selected 14th overall by the Chicago Bears. He was a member of the Bears from 2004 through 2010 compiling approximately 25 sacks, 200 tackles, and about 30 tackles for loss. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season. [UPDATE: Since he was cut by the Bears, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts. After that, he was cut and then signed with the San Diego Chargers. He was recently cut by the Chargers.] Read more »

Broncos Special Teams Ace, Darrell Reid Interview

Darrell Reid attended the University of Minnesota and played in 48 games as a defensive tackle. He finished his career at Minnesota with 157 tackles, 16 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, and 6 pass deflections. He was undrafted in the 2005 NFL Draft, but signed with the Indianapolis Colts. He finished his career with the Colts with 62 special team tackles. He was with the Denver Broncos in 2009 and 2010. This interview was conducted before the 2010 regular season.
