Undrafted out of FAMU, Cardinals Rookie DL, Padric Scott Interview

Former FAMU Nose Tackle, Padric Scott was prepared for this year’s 2013 NFL Draft. Without a NFL Combine invite, he was still hoping for his name to be called on the third day of this year’s NFL Draft. Unfortunately, his name was not called, but he most recently signed a free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals. He originally played for Stanford out of high school, but transferred and decided to play for the Florida A&M Rattlers and Coach Joe Taylor for the rest of his collegiate career. NFL Draft Sleeper, FAMU LB, Brandon Hepburn Interview

Former LB, Brandon Hepburn is prepared for this year’s NFL Draft. After recently attending the NFL Scouting Combine, he is waiting for his name to be called this Draft Day. Brandon Hepburn, originally from New York, was a preferred walk-on at Florida A&M University at the start of Coach Joe Taylor’s tenure. He made an impact during his junior and senior seasons at FAMU and is considered to be a late round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft. Offseason Workout with Brian Tyms and Kevin Elliott, Interviews Included

I attended an off-season workout with two current NFL players, and a few players who are working their way up. I spoke with all of them, introduced myself to all of them, but only interviewed a couple of them. I interviewed Buffalo Bills WR, Kevin Elliott who was previously a member of the Jaguars and was a star on their Special Teams unit. Detroit Lions S, Don Carey Video Interview via Skype

My first ever interview, Don Carey, becomes our first ever Skype interview for Pro Interviews! Make sure you check it out, and go ahead and give our video a view. I also transcribed it, in-case you wanted to read the interview instead of just watch it. Don Carey grew up a Lions fan in Michigan, and in just about five games (including the playoffs) with the Detroit Lions last year, Don Carey racked up twelve tackles, and had one pass deflections. Redskins G, James Lee Interview

James Lee first went to the University of Georgia to play college football, but later transferred to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference to play at South Carolina State. While he was at South Carolina State, he started 31 of 33 games. He entered the 2008 NFL Draft, but went undrafted and then signed with the Cleveland Browns. He was waived before the regular season, but was claimed and signed with the Buccaneers. He was a member of the Buccaneers from 2008-2011, playing eighteen games, with nine starts. He recently signed a contract with the Washington Redskins. This interview was done right after he signed with the Redskins.

Bethune Cookman NFL Draft Prospect DE, Ryan Davis Interview

Ryan Davis played college football in the MEAC at Bethune Cookman University. He was recruited to play TE at BCU, but ended up making the switch to defensive end/outside linebacker. During his four year career, he totaled he was there, he totaled 190 tackles, 44.5 tackles for loss, 24.5 sacks, and forced twelve fumbles. During his senior season, he was nominated to be the MEAC Defensive Player of the Year. He is entering the 2012 NFL Draft, and projected to go in the mid-rounds. The interview was conducted before the 2012 NFL Draft. He signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Eagles C, Jamaal Jackson Interview

Jamaal Jackson played college football at Delaware State, and then, he entered the 2003 NFL Draft, but was actually undrafted. He quickly signed a FA contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was their starting center from 2006 through 2009. He is also known to be the longest tenured Eagles player on their roster. He has played in 88 games in his entire career. This interview was conducted before the 2011 NFL season.

Jets DE, Marcus Dixon Interview

Marcus Dixon had a rough time growing up. He played for Pepperell High School, but due to a court case and his conviction, Marcus Dixon’s scholarship offers were revoked. After he was released because of his conviction was overturned, he enrolled and played football for Hampton University. After his completion of college, he entered the 2008 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys. He then signed with their practice squad and was a member in 2008 and 2009. Jaguars FS, Don Carey Interview (First Ever)

Don Carey III attended Norfolk State University and started in games all four years at safety and cornerback playing in 44 games. He was known for having soft hands, intercepting five passes his senior year. He was drafted in the sixth round, 177th overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 2009 NFL Draft. He was on the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2010 and was their starting safety. He was cut in 2011, but signed with the Detroit Lions. This interview was performed before the 2010 regular season.
