My Free Agency by Adam Carriker

Adam Carriker writes his second blog. For give you a little background, after the St. Louis Rams traded Carriker to the Washington in Redskins, he had two years left on his contract. He was a free agent recently, and the Redskins offered him a new contract. He signed a 4-year, $20 million dollar contract. It’s a great read for as it his extremely relevant to his whole free agency process this past season!

The Combine by Adam Carriker

In the end of February, Adam Carriker decided to write blog articles for Pro Interviews. Carriker played collegiately for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was selected in the 1st round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. He was then traded in 2010 to the Washington Redskins. He’s been a member of the Redskins since. He writes about what his combine experience was like before the 2007 NFL Draft. It’s a great read for his first blog!

Redskins DE, Adam Carriker Interview

Adam Carriker attended the University of Nebraska and was nominated for numerous awards during his junior and senior seasons like First-Team All-Big 12 and Big 12 DL of the Year. He indirectly served as someone Ndamukong Suh looked up to. He entered the 2007 NFL Draft, and was selected 13th overall by the St. Louis Rams. He then was traded to the Washington Redskins. This most recent season, he totaled 34 tackles, and 5.5 sacks. He signed a contract extension with the Washington Redskins.

Former Bucs OL, Jeb Terry Interview

Jeb Terry played college football at the University of North Carolina and was an All-ACC selection during his senior year. He entered the 2004 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 5th round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played in 30 games throughout his 3-year career with the Buccaneers. He was also a member of the 49ers briefly. He started an iPhone/Android app called Gridiron Grunts. (For more info click here)

Eagles Pro Bowl DE, Jason Babin Interview

Jason Babin was a stud at Western Michigan and became a first round pick in 2004 by the Houston Texans. JB was a member of the Tennessee Titans in 2010, and earned his first Pro Bowl appearance after a 12.5 sack season. In the 2011 offseason, he signed a 5-year, $28 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. This season he had a career high 18 sacks and earned another Pro Bowl birth. This interview was conducted in the middle of the 2011 NFL season. Read more »

Retired Cardinals RB, Marcel Shipp Interview

Marcel Shipp played for the University of Massachusetts and was an All-Atlantic 10 selection three times in his collegiate career. He then entered the 2011 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed a UDFA contract with the Arizona Cardinals. MS was a member of the Arizona Cardinals from 2002 through 2007. More recently, he played in the UFL with the Las Vegas Locos. His best season came in 2003 when he played with Emmitt Smith in 2003. He totaled 830 yards on the ground and another 184 receiving. This interview was done in December of the 2011 NFL season.

Bills S, Bryan Scott Interview

Bryan Scott played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions and he entered the 2003 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 2nd round, 55th overall by the Atlanta Falcons. He was a teammate of Michael Vick back in the day with the Falcons. He went through rough years in his career before finding a home in Buffalo. He has been with the Bills since 2007. Redskins DB, Reed Doughty Interview

Reed Doughty played college football at University of Northern Colorado where he was a teammate of Chargers WR, Vincent Jackson. He entered the 2006 NFL Draft and was drafted in the 6th round by the Washington Redskins. He is known as a great tackler and has almost 300 tackles in his NFL career. He was a teammate of Sean Taylor and shares his memories with him. Check out our interview that was conducted before the 2011 NFL season.

49ers Safety, Chris Maragos Interview

Chris Maragos first went to Western Michigan University to play college football, and then transferred to play at what he calls his dream school growing up, the University of Wisconsin. He went undrafted after the 2010 NFL Draft. He signed with the 49ers as a UDFA, and made the team’s practice squad in the 2010. He most recently signed with the Seattle Seahawks after being cut by the 49ers. This interview was conducted before the 2011 NFL season.

Don’t Be a Blue Ghost by Austen Lane

Austen Lane wrote his fourth and final blog for us here at Pro Interviews. I don’t know how he did it, but it’s even funnier than the last comparison! This time he compiles the “Austen Lane’s List of Weak Links” which includes, but is not limited to Velma from Scooby Doo, the Yellow Starburst, and Pop-Tarts. WNBA = Mohawks by Austen Lane

Austen Lane wrote his third blog, and this time, compared the WNBA and Mohawks. I don’t know how he did it, but it’s even funnier than the last comparison!
