Eagles Pro Bowl DE, Jason Babin Interview
Jason Babin was a stud at Western Michigan and became a first round pick in 2004 by the Houston Texans. JB was a member of the Tennessee Titans in 2010, and earned his first Pro Bowl appearance after a 12.5 sack season. In the 2011 offseason, he signed a 5-year, $28 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. This season he had a career high 18 sacks and earned another Pro Bowl birth. Redskins DB, Reed Doughty Interview
Reed Doughty played college football at University of Northern Colorado where he was a teammate of Chargers WR, Vincent Jackson. He entered the 2006 NFL Draft and was drafted in the 6th round by the Washington Redskins. He is known as a great tackler and has almost 300 tackles in his NFL career. He was a teammate of Sean Taylor and shares his memories with him. Check out our interview that was conducted before the 2011 NFL season.

Don’t Be a Blue Ghost by Austen Lane
Austen Lane wrote his fourth and final blog for us here at Pro Interviews. I don’t know how he did it, but it’s even funnier than the last comparison! This time he compiles the “Austen Lane’s List of Weak Links” which includes, but is not limited to Velma from Scooby Doo, the Yellow Starburst, and Pop-Tarts. AL also wrote about his opinion of the Transformers this past weekend. It’s a great closing to Austen Lane’s blogs.
WNBA = Mohawks by Austen Lane
Austen Lane wrote his third blog, and this time, compared the WNBA and Mohawks. I don’t know how he did it, but it’s even funnier than the last comparison! He develops the “Austen Lane’s WNBA Guide for People Who Have Nothing Left to Hold On To!” AL also wrote about his teammate, Larry Hart’s Mohawk. He encourages you to vote in his poll too. Austen Lane wrote his second blog, and decided to compare Beards and Blogs. I don’t know how he did it, but it’s hilarious! AL is known for his humor and sarcasm on his twitter. He develops the “Beard” Big Board and the “Without Beards” Big Board. He also reports about D’Anthony Smith. I’m sure you’ll have a great laugh while reading this blog!
Blog NUKE by Austen Lane
Austen Lane wrote his first blog, and called it a Blog NUKE! Lane played collegiately, for the Murray State Riders, and was drafted to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2010. He is one of their better run defenders on the defensive line. AL is known for his humor and sarcasm on twitter. He writes his first article with the fans in mind. Bengals LB, Vincent Rey Interview
Vincent Rey played college football at Duke University. He totaled 330 tackles, 28 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries for TDs during his collegiate career. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and in 2011, he became a key player for their Special Teams unit. Austen Lane played college football at Murray State. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 5th round by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is on the Jacksonville Jaguars roster. He got his first sack against the Saints in 2011, but was placed on IR later in the season. He is one of the funniest players on twitter, and he hopes to produce next season. Saints S, Usama Young Interview
Usama Young played college football at Kent State. He entered the 2007 NFL Draft and was selected in the 3rd round by the Saints. He was victorious in his lone Super Bowl appearance in 2009. While he was with the Saints, he totaled 105 tackles, 14 pass deflections, and three interceptions. This interview was conducted briefly after the 2010 NFL season. [UPDATE: He signed with the Cleveland Browns before the start of the 2011 season.]
Redskins Special Teams and DE, currently Director of Player Development, Phillip Daniels Interview
Phillip Daniels played college football at the University of Georgia. He entered the 1996 NFL Draft, and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round. He played for the Seahawks for four years, and then, for the Chicago Bears for four years. He signed with the Washington Redskins after that though, and was known for his pass rush ability and his special teams play. This interview was conducted as the 2010 NFL season was coming to an end.
