Broncos WR, Quan Cosby Interview

Quan Cosby grew up playing both baseball and football. After high school, he decided to pursue his dreams playing baseball and played for the Anaheim Angels from 2001 through 2005. He then went bak to college to pursue his love for football and went to the University of Texas from 2005 through 2008. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but didn’t get drafted. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, and he’s been primarily used as a kick returner and punt returner in the NFL. This interview was conducted the week before he got cut by the Denver Broncos. He ended up signing with the Indianapolis Colts.

Panthers WR, Armanti Edwards Interview

Armanti Edwards was the QB of Appalachian St. Mountaineers from 2006 through 2008. He had some great statistics during his time at App State. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft and was considered one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks coming into the league. He was drafted in the 3rd round, 78th overall by the Carolina Panthers. He threw his first completed pass this past season. This interview was conducted in the middle of the 2011 NFL season.

49ers FB, Bruce Miller Interview

Bruce Miller played college football at the University of Central Florida. He was the Conference-USA Defensive Player of the Year for his phenomenal senior season. He entered the 2011 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 7th round by the San Francisco 49ers. Coach Jim Harbaugh decided to switch him to fullback, and he talks about the adjustment. Redskins DB, Reed Doughty Interview

Reed Doughty played college football at University of Northern Colorado where he was a teammate of Chargers WR, Vincent Jackson. He entered the 2006 NFL Draft and was drafted in the 6th round by the Washington Redskins. He is known as a great tackler and has almost 300 tackles in his NFL career. He was a teammate of Sean Taylor and shares his memories with him. Check out our interview that was conducted before the 2011 NFL season.

Panthers DL, Terrell McClain Interview

Terrell McClain played college football at the University of South Florida from 2007 through 2010. He was nominated 1st team All-Big East after a stellar senior season. During his time at USF, he totaled 89 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, 10 QB hurries, 1 pass breakup, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery. He was drafted in the 3rd round by the Panthers of the 2011 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, he totaled 19 tackles and 1 sack. Click here to check out the interview that we did. Former Jaguars S, Donovin Darius Interview

Donovin Darius played college football at Syracuse University.  He earned the title, Big East Defensive Player of the Year as his senior year. He entered the 1998 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 1st round. He played for the Jaguars for eight  years from 1998 to 2006. Seahawks All-Pro KR, Leon Washington Interview

Leon Washington played college football for Florida State University. He then entered the 2006 NFL Draft, and was selected in the fourth round, 116th overall by the New York Jets. He played for the Jets for four years primarily as a kick returner, punt returner, and a scatback to share the load with the other running backs on the team. During the 2010 NFL Draft, LW was traded to the Seattle Seahawks. He continued his All-Pro play performance and was their primary kick returner. Retired Jaguars TE, George Wrighster Interview

George Wrighster played college football for the University of Oregon. He then entered the 2003 NFL Draft, and was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 4th round, 103rd overall. He was a member of the Jaguars from 2003 through 2008. He was known for occasionally getting open, but also for his above-average blocking skills. This interview was conducted in the 2010 NFL season and this was when he was a member of the UFL, Las Vegas Locomotives. Read more »

Titans CB, Jason McCourty Interview

Jason McCourty attended Rutgers University, and was a great defensive back during his time there. He then entered the 2009 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 6th round by the Tennessee Titans. He has been a member of the Titans since. He has been getting consistently better every year, just like he did in college. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season was over. [UPDATE: J-Mac finished the 2010 season with over 100 tackles.]

Chargers DB, Traye Simmons Interview

Traye Simmons first played junior college at the College of the Sequoias. He then transferred to play for the University of Minnesota. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, but actually went undrafted. He signed a undrafted free agent contract with the San Diego Chargers. He didn’t end up making the final roster and was cut right after the Chargers’ preseason.
