Dolphins NT, Paul Soliai Interview
Paul Soliai played college football at the University of Utah. He earned second team all-MWC for his performance in his senior season. He entered the 2007 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 4th round by the Miami Dolphins. He has totaled 97 tackles, 5 pass deflections, 11 STFs, and 2 sacks throughout his career. He received the franchise tag after the 2010 NFL season. This interview was conduced right before the 2010 NFL season ended.
Seahawks All-Pro KR, Leon Washington Interview
Leon Washington played college football for Florida State University. He then entered the 2006 NFL Draft, and was selected in the fourth round, 116th overall by the New York Jets. He played for the Jets for four years primarily as a kick returner, punt returner, and a scatback to share the load with the other running backs on the team. During the 2010 NFL Draft, LW was traded to the Seattle Seahawks. He continued his All-Pro play performance and was their primary kick returner. This interview was conducted as the 2010 NFL season was coming to an end. Read more 
Redskins WR, Anthony Armstrong Interview
Anthony Armstrong played college football for West Texas A&M from 2002-2005. He never got a shot to play in the NFL, so he played in the Intense Football League, and the Arena Football League hoping to one day earn a spot in the NFL. In 2008, the Miami Dolphins came calling, and he earned a spot on their practice squad roster. In 2009, he was on it, before getting cut. Then, the Redskins signed him to their active roster. In 2010, he compiled 871 yards, 3 touchdowns, on 44 receptions. This interview was done in the middle of the 2010 NFL season.
Falcons S, Erik Coleman Interview
Erik Coleman played college football at Washington State. He entered the 2004 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 5th round by the New York Jets. He was very productive during his first three years in the league before suffering an injury. He compiled over 300 tackles in his first three years and also had 17 PBUs, and 7 interceptions. He became a member of the Falcons before the 2008 season, and was very productive. This interview was conducted during the 2010 NFL season. Retired Ravens TE, Daniel Wilcox Interview (#50)
Daniel Wilcox was undrafted after the 2001 NFL Draft, but signed a contract with the New York Jets. In 2002, he became a Super Bowl Champion with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He remained on their roster in 2003. However, in 2004, he signed a contract with the Baltimore Ravens. He played tight end for the Ravens until the 2008 NFL season. He was known for his red-zone production. DW caught Joe Flacco’s first ever NFL touchdown pass. Check out our interview that was done in 2010, looking back on his career. Read more
Bills All-Time Great, Hall of Fame RB, Thurman Thomas Interview
Thurman Thomas attended Oklahoma State University, and during his time there he accumulated 897 attempts, 4595 yards, and 43 touchdowns. He is the all time leading rusher in OSU history, and he was known for being the only person ever to put Barry Sanders on the bench. He entered the 1988 NFL Draft, and was selected 40th overall by the Buffalo Bills. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007 after compiling over 12,000 rushing yards, and over 4,000 receiving yards in his career. Check out our interview. Read more
Retired NFL G, Tutan Reyes Interview
Tutan Reyes played on the offensive line at the University of Ole Miss. He entered the 2000 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 5th round by the New Orleans Saints. He played with the Saints from 2000-2002, and then, TR had a brief stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002. Then, Reyes signed with Carolina Panthers and played with them from 2002-2005, and after that he was with the Bills in 2006. He played for the Jaguars from 2007 through 2009, and then had two tryouts left with the Giants and the Texans but they didn’t seem to work out. Retired NFL DE/OLB, Akbar Gbaja-Biamila Interview
Akbar Gbaja-Biamila played defensive end for the San Diego State Aztecs from 1998 through 2002. He entered the 2003 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Oakland Raiders and played with them in 2003 and 2004. He then signed with the San Diego Chargers in 2005, the Miami Dolphins in 2006, and then back with the Oakland Raiders in 2007. Bills WR, Stevie Johnson Interview
Stevie Johnson first went to Chabot College and played as a wide receiver there in 2004 and 2005. He totaled over 1600 yards on 100 receptions and 18 touchdowns there. he then transferred to play for the University of Kentucky. In the 2006 season, he only had 12 receptions, but in 2007 he totaled 61 receptions . played wide receiver for the Ohio State University He entered the 2008 NFL Draft, but was selected in the 7th round by the Buffalo Bills. He only managed two receptions in the 2009 season, but he broke out after we conducted this interview. [UPDATE: In 2011, he produced great numbers still. He just signed a five year contract extension with the Buffalo Bills.] Read more
Retired Pro Bowl, All-Pro G, Alan Faneca Interview
Alan Faneca played guard for three years at LSU. He left early after totaling over 200 pancakes before his senior season. He entered the 1998 NFL Draft, and was selected 24th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was 1st-team All Pro and a Pro Bowl selection every year from 2001 through 2007. He helped lead them to a Super Bowl victory, and had a key pull block that sprung Willie Parker to a 75-yard touchdown run. He was a Pro Bowler with the New York Jets in 2008 and 2009. He had a brief stint with the Arizona Cardinals. [UPDATE: He retired with nine All-Pro awards, nine Pro Bowl awards, and one Super Bowl title.] Read more
Jets Defensive Coordinator, Mike Pettine Interview
Mike Pettine played safety at the University of Virginia in the 1980s. He then decided that he wanted to coach football. He coached high school football from 1996 through 2001. He then joined the Ravens Coaching staff with Rex Ryan and they became instant friends as they both worked together on the defensive line. He was a member of the Ravens’ staff from 2002 through 2008. He left to become the Defensive Coordinator of the New York Jets when Rex Ryan (the Ravens’ DC) left to become the Head Coach of the New York Jets. Erik Ainge played Quarterback for four years for the University of Tennessee. He was an all star running back for the Orange. He entered the 2008 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 5th round, 162nd overall by the New York Jets. He played in the preseason for the Jets in 2008 and 2009. He was their backup quarterback. Brian Hartline played wide receiver for the Ohio State University for three years. He was very productive throughout his time there. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 4th round by the Miami Dolphins. During his rookie season, he totaled 31 receptions for 506 yards and three touchdowns. Jets DE, Marcus Dixon Interview
Marcus Dixon had a rough time growing up. He played for Pepperell High School, but due to a court case and his conviction, Marcus Dixon’s scholarship offers were revoked. After he was released because of his conviction was overturned, he enrolled and played football for Hampton University. After his completion of college, he entered the 2008 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys. He then signed with their practice squad and was a member in 2008 and 2009. Dolphins RB, Kory Sheets Interview
Kory Sheets played college football at Purdue University and was a threat as both a running back and a receiver out of the backfield. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the San Francisco 49ers, but lost his spot on the roster in camp, so he signed on the practice squad. The Miami Dolphins needed another running back, so they signed him from the 49ers practice squad. This interview was done before the 2010 NFL season. Read more
