Colts MLB, Pat Angerer Interview

Pat Angerer played college football at the University of Iowa. He totaled 242 tackles, 2 sacks, and 6 interceptions during his junior and senior seasons. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 2nd round by the Indianapolis Colts. I had a chance to meet him back in 2010 after his first NFL start against the Washington Redskins. He started every game in 2011 for the Colts and finished 4th in the league with 148 tackles. Check out our interview that was conducted in the spring of 2011.

Redskins S, Sha’Reff Rashad Interview (video)

Sha’Reff Rashad played college football at the University of Central Florida. He totaled 259 tackles, 27 pass deflections, 10.5 tackles, and 14 interceptions throughout his collegiate career. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Giants and played on their practice squad. In 2010, he played for the Redskins. This is a VIDEO interview! Former Jaguars S, Donovin Darius Interview

Donovin Darius played college football at Syracuse University.  He earned the title, Big East Defensive Player of the Year as his senior year. He entered the 1998 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 1st round. He played for the Jaguars for eight  years from 1998 to 2006. Retired Jets and Dolphins QB, Chad Pennington Interview

Chad Pennington played college football at Marshall. He entered the 2000 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 1st round by the NY Jets. He played for the Jets for eight years from 2000 to 2007, and the Dolphins for three years from 2008-2010. He earned Comeback Player of the Year award twice in his career. He retired as the quarterback with the highest completion percentage in NFL History.  Read more »

Saints S, Usama Young Interview

Usama Young played college football at Kent State. He entered the 2007 NFL Draft and was selected in the 3rd round by the Saints. He was victorious in his lone Super Bowl appearance in 2009. While he was with the Saints, he totaled 105 tackles, 14 pass deflections, and three interceptions. This interview was conducted briefly after the 2010 NFL season. [UPDATE: He signed with the Cleveland Browns before the start of the 2011 season.]

Falcons S, Erik Coleman Interview

Erik Coleman played college football at Washington State. He entered the 2004 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 5th round by the New York Jets. He was very productive during his first three years in the league before suffering an injury. He compiled over 300 tackles in his first three years and also had 17 PBUs, and 7 interceptions. He became a member of the Falcons before the 2008 season, and was very productive. This interview was conducted during the 2010 NFL season. Titans CB, Jason McCourty Interview

Jason McCourty attended Rutgers University, and was a great defensive back during his time there. He then entered the 2009 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 6th round by the Tennessee Titans. He has been a member of the Titans since. He has been getting consistently better every year, just like he did in college. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season was over. [UPDATE: J-Mac finished the 2010 season with over 100 tackles.]

Pro Bowl, Eagles QB, Mike Vick Interview

Michael Vick played quarterback for Virginia Tech in 1999 and 2000. He entered the 2001 NFL Draft and was selected as the first overall pick by the Atlanta Falcons. He played for them from 2001-2006, and set numerous records, and was arguably one of the greatest dual-threat quarterbacks of all time. After being arrested, MV served 23 months in prison, but is working hard to repair his image. He signed a contract with the Eagles and earned a tiny amount of playing time during his first year back. [UPDATE: He has worked his way back to the starting quarterback position with the Eagles, and is now their starting quarterback.] Read more »

Chargers DB, Traye Simmons Interview

Traye Simmons first played junior college at the College of the Sequoias. He then transferred to play for the University of Minnesota. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, but actually went undrafted. He signed a undrafted free agent contract with the San Diego Chargers. He didn’t end up making the final roster and was cut right after the Chargers’ preseason. [UPDATE: He has been out of the NFL since he was cut by the San Diego Chargers.] Read more »

Jets Defensive Coordinator, Mike Pettine Interview

Mike Pettine played safety at the University of Virginia in the 1980s. He then decided that he wanted to coach football. He coached high school football from 1996 through 2001. He then joined the Ravens Coaching staff with Rex Ryan and they became instant friends as they both worked together on the defensive line. He was a member of the Ravens’ staff from 2002 through 2008. He left to become the Defensive Coordinator of the New York Jets when Rex Ryan (the Ravens’ DC) left to become the Head Coach of the New York Jets. Vikings DE, Brian Robison Interview

Brian Robison played defensive end for the University of Texas from 2003 through 2006. He established himself a great pass rush threat. BR entered the 2007 NFL Draft, and was selected early in the 4th round by the Minnesota Vikings. He has been a backup to Jared Allen throughout his career, but still brings a great pass rush to the Vikings Defensive Line. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season. Bears DT, Tommie Harris Interview

Tommie Harris played college football at Oklahoma University. He was a complete stud and then, he entered the 2004 NFL Draft and was selected 14th overall by the Chicago Bears. He was a member of the Bears from 2004 through 2010 compiling approximately 25 sacks, 200 tackles, and about 30 tackles for loss. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season. [UPDATE: Since he was cut by the Bears, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts. After that, he was cut and then signed with the San Diego Chargers. He was recently cut by the Chargers.] Read more »

Ravens CB, Fabian Washington Interview

Fabian Washington attended the University of Nebraska to play college football. He earned playing time for the beginning of his freshman year. He started 35 games and finished with 11 interceptions and 38 pass deflections throughout his career. He entered the 2005 NFL Draft and was selected in the first round by the Oakland Raiders. He played with the Raiders for three years before being traded to the Baltimore Ravens. He played with the ravens another three years. This interview was conducted before the 2010 season.
