Offseason Workout with Brian Tyms and Kevin Elliott, Interviews Included

I attended an off-season workout with two current NFL players, and a few players who are working their way up. I spoke with all of them, introduced myself to all of them, but only interviewed a couple of them. I interviewed Buffalo Bills WR, Kevin Elliott who was previously a member of the Jaguars and was a star on their Special Teams unit. Western Michigan NFL Draft Prospect WR, Jordan White Interview

Jordan White attended North Ridgeville High School. He then went on to play at the Western Michigan University. He totaled 306 receptions, 4190 yards, and 32 touchdowns during his collegiate career. He was All-MAC First Team in 2010 and 2011. He was also WMU’s first consensus All-American in school history. He broke school records at WR that were previously set by current Green Bay Packers WR, Greg Jennings. He has declared for the 2012 NFL Draft. This interview was conducted before the 2012 NFL Draft. Lehigh NFL Draft Prospect QB, Chris Lum Interview

Chris Lum played college football at Lehigh University. He started some games during his sophomore year, but took over officially as the starter for his junior and senior seasons. During his senior season, he had a 68% pass completion, and accumulated 4090 yards, 32 touchdowns, and only 15 interceptions and led Lehigh to a 10-2 record. He was the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year this past year. He’s getting looks at from many NFL teams. He is entering the 2012 NFL Draft, and his draft stock has risen in recent months. This interview was conducted before the 2012 NFL Draft.

East Carolina NFL Draft Prospect WR, Lance Lewis Interview

Lance Lewis played football at Concord High School in North Carolina. Afterwards, in 2007, he went to California to play at West Hills CC in California. In 2008, he did not play football. In 2009, he played at East Mississippi CC and led his team to an 11-1 record and to winning the school’s first ever MACJC Championship. He then went to East Carolina and in 22 career games (between two seasons), he served as ECU’s go-to receiver. He is entering the 2012 NFL Draft, and is projected as a sleeper in the wide receiver class.

Former Bills WR, Andre Reed Interview

Andre Reed was a member of the Buffalo Bills from 1985 through 1999. Throughout his time in the NFL, he recorded 951 receptions, 13,198 yards, and 87 touchdowns. He was nominated to the Pro Bowl for seven straight years from 1988-1994. He also made four Super Bowl appearances. He is currently 1 of 15 finalists for the Hall of Fame Class of 2012. This interview was done before the Hall of Fame Class of 2012 voting was done.

Panthers WR, Armanti Edwards Interview

Armanti Edwards was the QB of Appalachian St. Mountaineers from 2006 through 2008. He had some great statistics during his time at App State. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft and was considered one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks coming into the league. He was drafted in the 3rd round, 78th overall by the Carolina Panthers. He threw his first completed pass this past season. This interview was conducted in the middle of the 2011 NFL season.
