Cardinals Rookie DB, Ronnie Yell Interview
Ronnie Yell, Arizona Cardinals defensive back, is fighting for a roster spot this year. He joins a crowded secondary, and a young NFL team looking for breakout players. Ronnie Yell played collegiately at San José State and earned playing time starting games as a true freshman. He totaled over 100 tackles and over 20 pass deflections in his career. He entered the 2013 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He was quickly signed by the Arizona Cardinals and has since attended their rookie camp and is a now on their roster during 2013 Training Camp. Dolphins OTAs on 5/29, Interviews Included
I have been to training camps and games before, but I have never before covered an OTA. I had a lot to learn, and learn quickly. The way the Miami Dolphins practice is fast and intense. They have multiple players going head-to-head on different teams battling each other. Even with the speed, it was hard to not notice, that if a coach were teaching a player, he would immediately slow down and tell the player what to do, and how to do. Read more
Packers Long Snapper, Brett Goode Interview
Brett Goode was a long snapper for the Arkansas Razorbacks and after college, he entered the 2007 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He went through a series of cuts with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2007 and 2008, and talks about them. He signed with the Packers in 2008, and has remained with the Green Bay Packers since. He was a member of the winning Super Bowl XLV team. He talks about his specialty position, and so much more. This interview was conducted during the 2011-2012 NFL offseason!
Chasing Destiny by Chris Stewart
Chris Stewart wrote an article about chasing his own destiny. Chris Stewart played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (2006-2010) as an offensive lineman. He was picked up as a UDFA by the New York Jets, but was cut before the preseason ended. He is currently on the Arizona Cardinals’ roster trying to make the 53-man team. CS wrote this article about the unique opportunity that he has received.

Free Agent DB, Reggie Jones Interview
Reggie Jones played college football at Idaho and Portland State. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed a free agent contract with the New Orleans Saints. He was placed on IR after getting injured in camp. In 2010, he signed with the Redskins and was on the team for preseason. In 2011, he signed with the Vikings Practice Squad, and recently signed a future/reserve contract. This interview was conducted actually before the 2011 NFL season.
Former Notre Dame OL, Chris Stewart Interview
Chris Stewart was a member of Notre Dame Fighting Irish from 2007 through 2010. He entered the 2011 NFL Draft, but went undrafted through the seven rounds. He then signed a small contract with the New York Jets, but was cut before the final roster cuts. He never made the 53 man roster. Read the second article about my experience from JetsCamp on August 8th. I transcribed the interviews that I conducted today. They were very informative interviews, and definitely a lot of fun. The players I interviewed for this article are Jamaal Westerman, Eric Smith, John Conner, D’Brickashaw Ferguson, Mark Sanchez, Scotty McKnight, OC Brian Schottenheimer, and Head Coach Rex Ryan.
Raiders S, Jerome Boyd Interview
Jerome Boyd was born in Los Angeles, California. JB played collegiately at the University of Oregon. He was a linebacker, but later made the switch the safety. He accumulated 178 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, 8 pass deflections, and 6.5 sacks throughout his career with Oregon. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but was undrafted. He then earned a chance with the Oakland Raiders, and was placed on their practice squad in 2009. In 2010, he was cut by the Raiders. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season.
