Bengals LB, Vincent Rey Interview
Vincent Rey played college football at Duke University. He totaled 330 tackles, 28 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries for TDs during his collegiate career. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and in 2011, he became a key player for their Special Teams unit. Deunta Williams played college football at the University of North Carolina. He totaled 188 tackles and 12 interceptions during his collegiate career. He didn’t get to play during his senior season in college due to an NCAA rule violation. He entered the 2011 NFL Draft, but gave up his opportunity to play for a team due to an injury. Titans DT, Shaun Smith Interview
Shaun Smith played college football at South Carolina. He entered the 2003 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys and was a member of their practice squad. Throughout his career, he has played for the Saints, Bengals, Browns, Lions, and with the Chiefs. This interview was conducted mid-way through the 2010 NFL season. [UPDATE: In 2011, he signed with the Tennessee Titans. He posted 25 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 STFs this past year.]
Seahawks LB, Anthony Heygood Interview
Anthony Heygood played as a linebacker and on Special Teams for Purdue University. He had a great senior season with 114 tackles. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but actually went undrafted. He signed a undrafted free agent contract with the Carolina Panthers after the draft. He was waived by the Panthers in the 2009 season, but signed with the Seattle Seahawks and was cut right before camp ended. Vikings DE, Brian Robison Interview
Brian Robison played defensive end for the University of Texas from 2003 through 2006. He established himself a great pass rush threat. BR entered the 2007 NFL Draft, and was selected early in the 4th round by the Minnesota Vikings. He has been a backup to Jared Allen throughout his career, but still brings a great pass rush to the Vikings Defensive Line. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season. Dominic Douglas played college football for Mississippi State University. DD entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but actually went undrafted. He signed a UDFA contract with the St. Louis Rams after the draft. He made the practice squad player and remained there all year. He then was cut by the St. Louis Rams in 2010. Raiders S, Jerome Boyd Interview
Jerome Boyd was born in Los Angeles, California. JB played collegiately at the University of Oregon. He was a linebacker, but later made the switch the safety. He accumulated 178 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, 8 pass deflections, and 6.5 sacks throughout his career with Oregon. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but was undrafted. He then earned a chance with the Oakland Raiders, and was placed on their practice squad in 2009. In 2010, he was cut by the Raiders. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season.
