Falcons S, Erik Coleman Interview

Erik Coleman played college football at Washington State. He entered the 2004 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 5th round by the New York Jets. He was very productive during his first three years in the league before suffering an injury. He compiled over 300 tackles in his first three years and also had 17 PBUs, and 7 interceptions. He became a member of the Falcons before the 2008 season, and was very productive. This interview was conducted during the 2010 NFL season. Redskins Special Teams and DE, currently Director of Player Development, Phillip Daniels Interview

Phillip Daniels played college football at the University of Georgia. He entered the 1996 NFL Draft, and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round. He played for the Seahawks for four years, and then, for the Chicago Bears for four years. He signed with the Washington Redskins after that though, and was known for his pass rush ability and his special teams play. This interview was conducted as the 2010 NFL season was coming to an end. Titans CB, Jason McCourty Interview

Jason McCourty attended Rutgers University, and was a great defensive back during his time there. He then entered the 2009 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 6th round by the Tennessee Titans. He has been a member of the Titans since. He has been getting consistently better every year, just like he did in college. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season was over. [UPDATE: J-Mac finished the 2010 season with over 100 tackles.]

Eagles fullback, Leonard Weaver Interview

Leonard Weaver played collegiately at Carson-Newman. He entered the 2005 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He earned a spot from the Seattle Seahawks and was a member of their team and learned from all-time great fullback, Mack Strong. He was hurt during the 2006 NFL season, but played great in both the 2007 and 2008 seasons. He signed a contract in 2009 making him the highest paid fullback in NFL history. Bills WR, Stevie Johnson Interview

Stevie Johnson first went to Chabot College and played as a wide receiver there in 2004 and 2005. He totaled over 1600 yards on 100 receptions and 18 touchdowns there. he then transferred to play for the University of Kentucky. In the 2006 season, he only had 12 receptions, but in 2007 he totaled 61 receptions . played wide receiver for the Ohio State University He entered the 2008 NFL Draft, but was selected in the 7th round by the Buffalo Bills. He only managed two receptions in the 2009 season, but he broke out after we conducted this interview. [UPDATE: In 2011, he produced great numbers still. He just signed a five year contract extension with the Buffalo Bills.] Read more »

Vikings DE, Brian Robison Interview

Brian Robison played defensive end for the University of Texas from 2003 through 2006. He established himself a great pass rush threat. BR entered the 2007 NFL Draft, and was selected early in the 4th round by the Minnesota Vikings. He has been a backup to Jared Allen throughout his career, but still brings a great pass rush to the Vikings Defensive Line. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season. Bears DT, Tommie Harris Interview

Tommie Harris played college football at Oklahoma University. He was a complete stud and then, he entered the 2004 NFL Draft and was selected 14th overall by the Chicago Bears. He was a member of the Bears from 2004 through 2010 compiling approximately 25 sacks, 200 tackles, and about 30 tackles for loss. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season. [UPDATE: Since he was cut by the Bears, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts. After that, he was cut and then signed with the San Diego Chargers. He was recently cut by the Chargers.] Read more »

Cardinals LB, Ali Highsmith Interview

Ali Highsmith played college football for Louisiana State University. He was a Butkus award semifinalist during his junior and senior year. In 2007, he was First-Team All-SEC. He entered the 2008 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Arizona Cardinals, appearing in six games during his rookie season. In 2009, he signed with the practice squad. He most recently signed a future contract. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season. [UPDATE: He was waived by the AZ Cardinals, and then signed with the San Diego Chargers. Former NFL WR, Samie Parker Interview

Samie Parker played college football for the University of Oregon. He was one of Kellen Clemens’ favorite wide receiver targets, and was known as a tremendous deep threat. He entered the 2004 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 4th round by the Kansas City Chiefs. SP played four seasons with the Chiefs, and then bounced around the NFL with different teams. He also played in the AFL for the Chicago Rush. [UPDATE: In 2010 and 2011, he also played in the United Football League (UFL) for the Las Vegas Locomotives.] Read more »

Steelers RB, Jonathan Dwyer Interview

Jonathan Dwyer played college football for Georgia Tech. He was an All-American in 2008, and nominated as the ACC Player of the Year in 2008. He rushed for about 3000 yards in three years of college football. He attended the NFL Combine, after deciding to forgo his senior season, and entered the 2010 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 6th round by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jets QB, Erik Ainge Interview

Erik Ainge played Quarterback for four years for the University of Tennessee. He was an all star running back for the Orange. He entered the 2008 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 5th round, 162nd overall by the New York Jets. He played in the preseason for the Jets in 2008 and 2009. He was their backup quarterback. He competed with other quarterbacks on the roster and ended up earning the final spot with the team.[UPDATE: He retired from the NFL in 2011.] Read more »

Walter McFadden played college football for Auburn University. He started off playing Special Teams, but then became the starting cornerback for the Tigers. Undrafted Free Agent, Former Texas Southern University, TE Jonathan Hannah Interview

Jonathan Hannah first played college football for Florida State University, but then transferred to play for Texas Southern University. His best game in college came where he had 9 receptions for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns. In 2009, he totaled 30 receptions, 425 yards, and 3 touchdowns. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, but went undrafted and he actually never got the chance to sign with an NFL team. This interview was conducted a month after the NFL Draft. Read more »
