Adam Carriker wanted to change it up for his third blog. We decided to give you all an incentive to being active in his blog too. With WrestleMania coming around the corner, Adam Carriker shares some stories about growing up and developing a strong love for the WWE. He also shares his predictions for this weekend’s WrestleMania! What do you think of his opinions?
My Free Agency by Adam Carriker
Adam Carriker writes his second blog. For give you a little background, after the St. Louis Rams traded Carriker to the Washington in Redskins, he had two years left on his contract. He was a free agent recently, and the Redskins offered him a new contract. He signed a 4-year, $20 million dollar contract. It’s a great read for as it his extremely relevant to his whole free agency process this past season!
The Combine by Adam Carriker
In the end of February, Adam Carriker decided to write blog articles for Pro Interviews. Carriker played collegiately for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was selected in the 1st round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. He was then traded in 2010 to the Washington Redskins. He’s been a member of the Redskins since. He writes about what his combine experience was like before the 2007 NFL Draft. It’s a great read for his first blog!
Vikings Punter, Chris Kluwe Interview
Chris Kluwe played college football at UCLA. He totaled 154 punts, 6,624 punt yards, with an average of 43 yards per punt. He entered the 2005 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Seattle Seahawks and was cut before the regular season. The Minnesota Vikings claimed him and he ended up as the starting punter and has remained as the starter since 2005. He is not afraid to speak about his love for video games, or his band, ‘Tripping Icarus’.
Redskins DE, Adam Carriker Interview
Adam Carriker attended the University of Nebraska and was nominated for numerous awards during his junior and senior seasons like First-Team All-Big 12 and Big 12 DL of the Year. He indirectly served as someone Ndamukong Suh looked up to. He entered the 2007 NFL Draft, and was selected 13th overall by the St. Louis Rams. He then was traded to the Washington Redskins. This most recent season, he totaled 34 tackles, and 5.5 sacks. He signed a contract extension with the Washington Redskins.
Seahawks practice squad TE, John Nalbone
John Nalbone played college football at Monmouth University in New Jersey. While he was there, he totaled 101 receptions, 1080 yards, and 9 touchdowns. He was an all-NEC selection during his sophomore, junior, and senior year. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 5th round, 161st overall by the Miami Dolphins. He has been a member of the Vikings, Broncos, Eagles, Bengals, and is now with the Seahawks. He signed a futures contract at the end of the 2011 season. This interview was done right after the 2011 season.
Saints DB, Cord Parks Interview
Cord Parks played college football at Northeastern University. He totaled 171 tackles and 12 pass deflections throughout his collegiate carer. He also participated and ran track at Northeastern too. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the St. Louis Rams. He has been a member of the Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings also. In the end of 2011, he signed with the New Orleans Saints.
Former Bucs OL, Jeb Terry Interview
Jeb Terry played college football at the University of North Carolina and was an All-ACC selection during his senior year. He entered the 2004 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 5th round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played in 30 games throughout his 3-year career with the Buccaneers. He was also a member of the 49ers briefly. He started an iPhone/Android app called Gridiron Grunts. (For more info click here)
Eagles Pro Bowl DE, Jason Babin Interview
Jason Babin was a stud at Western Michigan and became a first round pick in 2004 by the Houston Texans. JB was a member of the Tennessee Titans in 2010, and earned his first Pro Bowl appearance after a 12.5 sack season. In the 2011 offseason, he signed a 5-year, $28 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. This season he had a career high 18 sacks and earned another Pro Bowl birth. Retired Cardinals RB, Marcel Shipp Interview
Marcel Shipp played for the University of Massachusetts and was an All-Atlantic 10 selection three times in his collegiate career. He then entered the 2011 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed a UDFA contract with the Arizona Cardinals. MS was a member of the Arizona Cardinals from 2002 through 2007. More recently, he played in the UFL with the Las Vegas Locos. His best season came in 2003 when he played with Emmitt Smith in 2003. He totaled 830 yards on the ground and another 184 receiving. This interview was done in December of the 2011 NFL season.

49ers FB, Bruce Miller Interview
Bruce Miller played college football at the University of Central Florida. He was the Conference-USA Defensive Player of the Year for his phenomenal senior season. He entered the 2011 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 7th round by the San Francisco 49ers. Coach Jim Harbaugh decided to switch him to fullback, and he talks about the adjustment. Eagles DE, Darryl Tapp Interview
Darryl Tapp attended the Virginia Tech University and was a stud defensive end there. He then entered the 2006 NFL Draft, and was drafted 63rd overall by the Seattle Seahawks. After a slow start to his career, he picked up pace during his second year. During the 2010 offseason, he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. There are two interviews here. One that was conducted before the 2010 season, and another that was conducted right as the 2011 season began. Read more
Dolphins DB, Nate Ness Interview
Nate Ness first played Junior College football at El Camino College where he recorded 19 interceptions and 8 touchdowns. He then, went on to play college football for the University of Arizona during 2007 and 2008. He totaled 97 tackles and 7 interceptions while he was at Arizona. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He has been a member of numerous teams from the Browns to the Seahawks to the Jets and now, he’s on the Miami Dolphins roster. Former Rams Special Teams Captain from the Greatest Show on Turf, Tony Horne Interview
Tony Horne played college football at Clemson University. He entered the 1998 NFL Draft, but was actually undrafted. He then signed with the St. Louis Rams. He was a member of the Super Bowl XXXIV-winning team. During this special game, he was nominated to be the Rams’ Special Teams Captain. Afterwards, he was traded to the Chiefs, but got injured and has not been able to play football for the rest of his life. Read more
49ers Safety, Chris Maragos Interview
Chris Maragos first went to Western Michigan University to play college football, and then transferred to play at what he calls his dream school growing up, the University of Wisconsin. He went undrafted after the 2010 NFL Draft. He signed with the 49ers as a UDFA, and made the team’s practice squad in the 2010. He most recently signed with the Seattle Seahawks after being cut by the 49ers. This interview was conducted before the 2011 NFL season.
