Cardinals Rookie DB, Ronnie Yell Interview
Ronnie Yell, Arizona Cardinals defensive back, is fighting for a roster spot this year. He joins a crowded secondary, and a young NFL team looking for breakout players. Ronnie Yell played collegiately at San José State and earned playing time starting games as a true freshman. He totaled over 100 tackles and over 20 pass deflections in his career. He entered the 2013 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He was quickly signed by the Arizona Cardinals and has since attended their rookie camp and is a now on their roster during 2013 Training Camp. Patriots Rookie DB, Duron Harmon Interview
In the 2013 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots used one of their third round picks on former Rutgers defensive back, Duron Harmon. This was a surprise to many analysts and media members. He played four years during his time at Rutgers and was a great and versatile safety for the Scarlet Knights. In our interview, Harmon talks about his pre-draft experiences, such as his Pro Day to his teammates on the Patriots to how his time has been so far with the Patriots organization. Packers Long Snapper, Brett Goode Interview
Brett Goode was a long snapper for the Arkansas Razorbacks and after college, he entered the 2007 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He went through a series of cuts with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2007 and 2008, and talks about them. He signed with the Packers in 2008, and has remained with the Green Bay Packers since. He was a member of the winning Super Bowl XLV team. He talks about his specialty position, and so much more. This interview was conducted during the 2011-2012 NFL offseason!
Jets Special Team Ace, Nick Bellore Interview
Nick Bellore played college ball at Central Michigan. After going undrafted in 2011, he trained on his own throughout the entire NFL Lockout. He signed with the Jets for Training Camp and ended up making their final 53-man roster. He is one of their key Special Teamers, and totaled 19 tackles during his rookie season. 49ers Safety, Chris Maragos Interview
Chris Maragos first went to Western Michigan University to play college football, and then transferred to play at what he calls his dream school growing up, the University of Wisconsin. He went undrafted after the 2010 NFL Draft. He signed with the 49ers as a UDFA, and made the team’s practice squad in the 2010. He most recently signed with the Seattle Seahawks after being cut by the 49ers. This interview was conducted before the 2011 NFL season.
Bengals LB, Vincent Rey Interview
Vincent Rey played college football at Duke University. He totaled 330 tackles, 28 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries for TDs during his collegiate career. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and in 2011, he became a key player for their Special Teams unit. Redskins S, Sha’Reff Rashad Interview (video)
Sha’Reff Rashad played college football at the University of Central Florida. He totaled 259 tackles, 27 pass deflections, 10.5 tackles, and 14 interceptions throughout his collegiate career. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Giants and played on their practice squad. In 2010, he played for the Redskins. This is a VIDEO interview! Retired Ravens TE, Daniel Wilcox Interview (#50)
Daniel Wilcox was undrafted after the 2001 NFL Draft, but signed a contract with the New York Jets. In 2002, he became a Super Bowl Champion with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He remained on their roster in 2003. However, in 2004, he signed a contract with the Baltimore Ravens. He played tight end for the Ravens until the 2008 NFL season. Chargers DB, Traye Simmons Interview
Traye Simmons first played junior college at the College of the Sequoias. He then transferred to play for the University of Minnesota. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, but actually went undrafted. He signed a undrafted free agent contract with the San Diego Chargers. He didn’t end up making the final roster and was cut right after the Chargers’ preseason.
