08/09/13 – Dolphins vs. Jaguars

Often times, the first preseason game, both teams go in “dry” or without a gameplan. This tactic really allows for coaches to find players who can “play football” and see who separates themselves from the entire pact of new members on the team. This is the Dolphins second game this week, and they started game-planning earlier in the week. However, after interviewing Jaguars players, they didn’t organize a game-plan. Before the beginning of the game, the Dolphins had the advantage, and the final score with Miami ahead, 27-3, reflected just that.

8/7 Dolphins Camp, Thoughts and Interviews

The Dolphins held practice yesterday at Nova Southeastern University. Check out this article for my thoughts on Dolphins camp, the team, and also for some great interviews. I had a chance to speak and ask questions to defensive backs, Nolan Carroll and Dimitri Patterson, tight end Dustin Keller, offensive lineman Nate Garner, running back Lamar Miller, and wide receiver Mike Wallace.  Read more

Western Michigan NFL Draft Prospect WR, Jordan White Interview

Jordan White attended North Ridgeville High School. He then went on to play at the Western Michigan University. He totaled 306 receptions, 4190 yards, and 32 touchdowns during his collegiate career. He was All-MAC First Team in 2010 and 2011. He was also WMU’s first consensus All-American in school history. He broke school records at WR that were previously set by current Green Bay Packers WR, Greg Jennings. He has declared for the 2012 NFL Draft. This interview was conducted before the 2012 NFL Draft. He was drafted in the 7th round by the New York Jets. Read more »

Lions DE and Sack Machine, Cliff Avril Interview

Cliff Avril attended Purdue University and played in games all four years. During his senior season at Purdue, he had 40 tackles, 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 3 pass deflections, and one interception returned for 43 yards and a TD. He entered the 2008 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 3rd round, 92nd overall by the Detroit Lions. Since he’s been in the NFL, he’s tallied 30 sacks, 12 pass deflections, and 14 forced fumbles. He recently received the team’s franchise tag. There are two interviews. One was recently updated.

Jaguars G, Uche Nwaneri Interview

Uche Nwaneri played college football at Purdue University. He then entered the 2007 NFL Draft and was drafted in the 5th round. He has remained with the Jaguars since 2007. He has started 61 games in his career, and taken part in 73 total games. Nwaneri is considered the best offensive guards in recent Jacksonville Jaguars’ history. Check out our interview that was conducted in the middle of the 2011 NFL season.

Seahawks LB, Anthony Heygood Interview

Anthony Heygood played as a linebacker and on Special Teams for Purdue University. He had a great senior season with 114 tackles. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but actually went undrafted. He signed a undrafted free agent contract with the Carolina Panthers after the draft. He was waived by the Panthers in the 2009 season, but signed with the Seattle Seahawks and was cut right before camp ended.
