Newly Drafted Dolphins Cornerback, Jamar Taylor Interview
In the 2013 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins used their 2nd round pick to select former Boise State Broncos, CB Jamar Taylor. He joined me for an exclusive one-on-one interview. Jamar Taylor talks about growing up in the rough area of San Diego, his time at Boise State, his off seasons, and what it was like to be drafted by the Dolphins. Taylor was a team captain throughout the entirety of his senior year, and earned First-Team All Mountain West Conference Honors after his senior season performance. Jets Defensive Coordinator, Mike Pettine Interview
Mike Pettine played safety at the University of Virginia in the 1980s. He then decided that he wanted to coach football. He coached high school football from 1996 through 2001. He then joined the Ravens Coaching staff with Rex Ryan and they became instant friends as they both worked together on the defensive line. He was a member of the Ravens’ staff from 2002 through 2008. He left to become the Defensive Coordinator of the New York Jets when Rex Ryan (the Ravens’ DC) left to become the Head Coach of the New York Jets. Jets DE, Marcus Dixon Interview
Marcus Dixon had a rough time growing up. He played for Pepperell High School, but due to a court case and his conviction, Marcus Dixon’s scholarship offers were revoked. After he was released because of his conviction was overturned, he enrolled and played football for Hampton University. After his completion of college, he entered the 2008 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys. He then signed with their practice squad and was a member in 2008 and 2009. Vikings RB, Albert Young Interview
Albert Young was an all-state all star for his high school football team in New Jersey. He then played college football for the University of Iowa. He totaled 660 attempts, 3173 yards, and 23 touchdowns during his time as a Hawkeye. After being undrafted in the 2008 NFL Draft, he was signed by the Vikings onto their practice squad. He is still on the Vikings roster, and has been active in preseason and regular season games. This interview was conducted before the 2010 regular season.
