Virginia Tech NFL Draft Prospect FS, Eddie Whitley Interview

Eddie Whitley played college football at Virginia Tech University. During his time (2008-2011) at VT, he played in 54 games, and started 28 total. He started his career playing Special Teams, and then moved into the starting free safety role. He totaled 189 tackles, six tackles for loss, four interceptions, twelve pass deflections, and forced three fumbles. He has declared entry for the 2012 NFL Draft, and is projected to either be a seventh round or undrafted free agent. He could become a key Special Teamer. Lehigh NFL Draft Prospect QB, Chris Lum Interview

Chris Lum played college football at Lehigh University. He started some games during his sophomore year, but took over officially as the starter for his junior and senior seasons. During his senior season, he had a 68% pass completion, and accumulated 4090 yards, 32 touchdowns, and only 15 interceptions and led Lehigh to a 10-2 record. He was the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year this past year. He’s getting looks at from many NFL teams. He is entering the 2012 NFL Draft, and his draft stock has risen in recent months. This interview was conducted before the 2012 NFL Draft.

Bears LB, J.T. Thomas Interview

J.T. Thomas played college football at West Virginia. He played linebacker and while he was there he totaled 202 tackles, 12 pass deflections, 5.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 interception. He entered the 2011 NFL Draft, and was drafted in the 6th round by the Chicago Bears. He was placed on IR before the season started due to a back injury. He is planning on make a strong return to the NFL next year. This interview was conducted after the 2011 NFL season.

Earnest Byner wrote his second blog article for Pro Interviews. EB has 27 years experience in the NFL, both as a player and as a coach. He continues his first blog article about Leadership and discusses how he was a leader on the football field as a running back. He has been an RB coach for numerous teams, and he has been vey successful. He wrote this follow-up blog before the 2011 NFL season.
