In the 2013 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots used one of their third round picks on former Rutgers defensive back, Duron Harmon. This was a surprise to many analysts and media members. He played four years during his time at Rutgers and was a great and versatile safety for the Scarlet Knights. Cliff Avril attended Purdue University and played in games all four years. During his senior season at Purdue, he had 40 tackles, 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 3 pass deflections, and one interception returned for 43 yards and a TD. He entered the 2008 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 3rd round, 92nd overall by the Detroit Lions. Since he’s been in the NFL, he’s tallied 30 sacks, 12 pass deflections, and 14 forced fumbles. Nate Burleson played college football at Nevada. He entered the 2003 NFL Draft and was drafted in the third round by the Minnesota Vikings from 2003-2005. He also played for the Seahawks from 2006-2009 for his career. He is currently a member of the Detroit Lions. In 2010, he totaled 55 receptions, 625 yards, and 6 touchdowns.
