Former LB, Brandon Hepburn is prepared for this year’s NFL Draft. After recently attending the NFL Scouting Combine, he is waiting for his name to be called this Draft Day. Brandon Hepburn, originally from New York, was a preferred walk-on at Florida A&M University at the start of Coach Joe Taylor’s tenure. He made an impact during his junior and senior seasons at FAMU and is considered to be a late round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft. He is willing to play Special Teams and understands it, just as well as anybody. Enjoy our exclusive interview.
Cliff Avril attended Purdue University and played in games all four years. During his senior season at Purdue, he had 40 tackles, 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 3 pass deflections, and one interception returned for 43 yards and a TD. He entered the 2008 NFL Draft, and was selected in the 3rd round, 92nd overall by the Detroit Lions. Since he’s been in the NFL, he’s tallied 30 sacks, 12 pass deflections, and 14 forced fumbles. LaMar Campbell played college football at Wisconsin. He was undrafted after the 1998 NFL Draft. He played with the Lions for five years and while he was there he totaled 120 tackles, 4 forced fumbles. His lone interception in his career was thrown to him by Brett Favre and he returned it for a touchdown! Check out our interview. Nate Burleson played college football at Nevada. He entered the 2003 NFL Draft and was drafted in the third round by the Minnesota Vikings from 2003-2005. He also played for the Seahawks from 2006-2009 for his career. He is currently a member of the Detroit Lions. In 2010, he totaled 55 receptions, 625 yards, and 6 touchdowns. Shaun Smith played college football at South Carolina. He entered the 2003 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys and was a member of their practice squad. Throughout his career, he has played for the Saints, Bengals, Browns, Lions, and with the Chiefs. This interview was conducted mid-way through the 2010 NFL season. [UPDATE: In 2011, he signed with the Tennessee Titans. He posted 25 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 STFs this past year.]
Ernest Smith played wide receiver for Baylor University. After earning playing time throughout his four years at Baylor, ES entered the 2010 NFL Draft, but went undrafted.
