Washington State NFL Draft Prospect OLB, Alex Hoffman-Ellis Interview

Alex Hoffman-Ellis attended Hamilton High School, and he didn’t start playing football until his senior year. From there, he went to play at Moorpark College, and in eleven starts, he totaled ninety-one tackles and two sacks. He then transferred to Washington State University. He started since his sophomore year, and played in 35 games with 33 starts, and 253 tackles, four interceptions (returning two of them for touchdowns, seven pass breakups. He is entered for the 2012 NFL Draft. This interview was conducted before the 2012 NFL Draft.

East Carolina NFL Draft Prospect WR, Lance Lewis Interview

Lance Lewis played football at Concord High School in North Carolina. Afterwards, in 2007, he went to California to play at West Hills CC in California. In 2008, he did not play football. In 2009, he played at East Mississippi CC and led his team to an 11-1 record and to winning the school’s first ever MACJC Championship. He then went to East Carolina and in 22 career games (between two seasons), he served as ECU’s go-to receiver. He is entering the 2012 NFL Draft, and is projected as a sleeper in the wide receiver class.

Dolphins DB, Nate Ness Interview

Nate Ness first played Junior College football at El Camino College where he recorded 19 interceptions and 8 touchdowns. He then, went on to play college football for the University of Arizona during 2007 and 2008. He totaled 97 tackles and 7 interceptions while he was at Arizona. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He has been a member of numerous teams from the Browns to the Seahawks to the Jets and now, he’s on the Miami Dolphins roster. Bills WR, Stevie Johnson Interview

Stevie Johnson first went to Chabot College and played as a wide receiver there in 2004 and 2005. He totaled over 1600 yards on 100 receptions and 18 touchdowns there. he then transferred to play for the University of Kentucky. In the 2006 season, he only had 12 receptions, but in 2007 he totaled 61 receptions . played wide receiver for the Ohio State University He entered the 2008 NFL Draft, but was selected in the 7th round by the Buffalo Bills. He only managed two receptions in the 2009 season, but he broke out after we conducted this interview. [UPDATE: In 2011, he produced great numbers still. He just signed a five year contract extension with the Buffalo Bills.] Read more »

Great LSU WR, Demetrius Byrd Interview

Demetrius Byrd played wide receiver for Louisiana State University. He first started playing at Pearl River Junior College and was a complete stud. He then played for LSU in 2008 and 2009 totaling over 1000 receiving yards, 11 touchdowns, and had 72 receptions. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but was selected in the 7th round by the San Diego Chargers. When he was drafted, he was in a coma after suffering a serious car accident. He signed with the San Diego Chargers, and was placed on the non-football injury reserve list. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season. Read more »

Rams LB, Dominic Douglas Interview

Dominic Douglas played college football for Mississippi State University. DD entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but actually went undrafted. He signed a UDFA contract with the St. Louis Rams after the draft. He made the practice squad player and remained there all year. He then was cut by the St. Louis Rams in 2010. This interview was conducted before the 2010 NFL season. Read more »

Undrafted Free Agent, Former Texas Southern University, TE Jonathan Hannah Interview

Jonathan Hannah first played college football for Florida State University, but then transferred to play for Texas Southern University. His best game in college came where he had 9 receptions for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns. In 2009, he totaled 30 receptions, 425 yards, and 3 touchdowns. He entered the 2010 NFL Draft, but went undrafted and he actually never got the chance to sign with an NFL team. This interview was conducted a month after the NFL Draft. Read more »
