Saints DB, Cord Parks Interview
Cord Parks played college football at Northeastern University. He totaled 171 tackles and 12 pass deflections throughout his collegiate carer. He also participated and ran track at Northeastern too. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the St. Louis Rams. He has been a member of the Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings also. In the end of 2011, he signed with the New Orleans Saints.
Free Agent DB, Reggie Jones Interview
Reggie Jones played college football at Idaho and Portland State. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed a free agent contract with the New Orleans Saints. He was placed on IR after getting injured in camp. In 2010, he signed with the Redskins and was on the team for preseason. In 2011, he signed with the Vikings Practice Squad, and recently signed a future/reserve contract. This interview was conducted actually before the 2011 NFL season.
Jets Special Team Ace, Nick Bellore Interview
Nick Bellore played college ball at Central Michigan. After going undrafted in 2011, he trained on his own throughout the entire NFL Lockout. He signed with the Jets for Training Camp and ended up making their final 53-man roster. He is one of their key Special Teamers, and totaled 19 tackles during his rookie season. Broncos WR, Quan Cosby Interview
Quan Cosby grew up playing both baseball and football. After high school, he decided to pursue his dreams playing baseball and played for the Anaheim Angels from 2001 through 2005. He then went bak to college to pursue his love for football and went to the University of Texas from 2005 through 2008. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but didn’t get drafted. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, and he’s been primarily used as a kick returner and punt returner in the NFL. This interview was conducted the week before he got cut by the Denver Broncos. He ended up signing with the Indianapolis Colts.
Bills WR, Felton Huggins Interview
Felton Huggins played college football at Southeastern Louisiana. FH entered the 2006 NFL Draft, but actually went undrafted most likely because of the small school that he attended. He was a member of the Buffalo Bills from 2007 through 2009. He has recorded one TD in preseason games. He was placed on injured reserve early in the season. He has yet to make his break in the NFL. Free Agent TE, Joel Gamble Interview
Joel Gamble played for Division II college called Shippensburg University up until the 2004 football season. He entered the 2005 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He wasn’t offered a chance to play for an NFL team until he was given a chance four years later for the Philadelphia Eagles. After he was on the practice squad in 2009, he then was cut during the 2010 Browns season. Afterwards, he signed with the Tennessee Titans practice squad. This interview was done towards the end of the 2011 NFL season.
Retired Cardinals RB, Marcel Shipp Interview
Marcel Shipp played for the University of Massachusetts and was an All-Atlantic 10 selection three times in his collegiate career. He then entered the 2011 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed a UDFA contract with the Arizona Cardinals. MS was a member of the Arizona Cardinals from 2002 through 2007. More recently, he played in the UFL with the Las Vegas Locos. His best season came in 2003 when he played with Emmitt Smith in 2003. He totaled 830 yards on the ground and another 184 receiving. This interview was done in December of the 2011 NFL season.

Former Notre Dame OL, Chris Stewart Interview
Chris Stewart was a member of Notre Dame Fighting Irish from 2007 through 2010. He entered the 2011 NFL Draft, but went undrafted through the seven rounds. He then signed a small contract with the New York Jets, but was cut before the final roster cuts. He never made the 53 man roster. Former Lions S, LaMar Campbell Interview
LaMar Campbell played college football at Wisconsin. He was undrafted after the 1998 NFL Draft. He played with the Lions for five years and while he was there he totaled 120 tackles, 4 forced fumbles. His lone interception in his career was thrown to him by Brett Favre and he returned it for a touchdown! Check out our interview. Packers S, M.D. Jennings Interview
M.D. Jennings played college football at Arkansas State. He was known primarily for his cover skills and totaled 8 interceptions throughout his collegiate career. He entered the 2011 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He signed with the Packers, and was one of four undrafted free agents to make their 53man roster. He is going to be a stud for the Packers in the future. Check out our interview that was done early in the 2011 NFL season.

Former NFL teammates, offensive lineman, Jeb Terry and linebacker, Ryan Nece developed an iPhone and Android application called ‘Gridiron Grunts’. Basically, players go on and grunt their thoughts through short audio recordings. It’s a pretty awesome application and you can download it at this link here, www.bit.ly/progrunts. Dolphins DB, Nate Ness Interview
Nate Ness first played Junior College football at El Camino College where he recorded 19 interceptions and 8 touchdowns. He then, went on to play college football for the University of Arizona during 2007 and 2008. He totaled 97 tackles and 7 interceptions while he was at Arizona. He entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted. He has been a member of numerous teams from the Browns to the Seahawks to the Jets and now, he’s on the Miami Dolphins roster. Former Rams Special Teams Captain from the Greatest Show on Turf, Tony Horne Interview
Tony Horne played college football at Clemson University. He entered the 1998 NFL Draft, but was actually undrafted. He then signed with the St. Louis Rams. He was a member of the Super Bowl XXXIV-winning team. During this special game, he was nominated to be the Rams’ Special Teams Captain. Afterwards, he was traded to the Chiefs, but got injured and has not been able to play football for the rest of his life. Read more

Chris Maragos first went to Western Michigan University to play college football, and then transferred to play at what he calls his dream school growing up, the University of Wisconsin. He went undrafted after the 2010 NFL Draft. He signed with the 49ers as a UDFA, and made the team’s practice squad in the 2010. He most recently signed with the Seattle Seahawks after being cut by the 49ers. This interview was conducted before the 2011 NFL season.
For the Love by Earnest Byner
Earnest Byner wrote his sixth and final blog article for us here at Pro Interviews. Byner played professionally for thirteen years, and he has coached for fourteen years. He is currently the Jacksonville Jaguars’ running back coach. He loves the game hence why he has been around it for so long. He wrote this about the ‘little-boy’ feeling of the game that should never get away. This was written before the 2011 NFL season.
